The term “Bisexual Chic” refers to the romanticizing and trending of bisexuality. The idea that anyone goes and that bisexuality is socially acceptable because it is only temporary or not seen as an actual sexual identification. This is problematic for queer theorists as it delegitimizes the bisexual experience and in many ways is based on the idea of a gender/sexual binary.
